There's a new bar that just opened in uptown Dallas. Anyone been there?

Supposedly, it has a Gman feel and a decent selection of beers and good food. I may have to venture down there this weekend and give it a try.

Beer contains just a small amount of vitamins - that's why it's necessary to drink lot of it
Re: New Bar in Uptown
Several of us headed down to the Common Table last Saturday. The beer selection is good. There are about 20-25 taps and about that many bottle selections. We were luky to get one of their last bottles of Stone Cali-Belgique IPA. Thanks Tim! The beer is a bit pricy, but at least you can get a full 20 oz pint. The food is very good. The bar is a nice little place, good for a date or hanging out with a few friends.

I went by the Common Room.. seems nice enough, the but the clientele appears to be a bit pretentious (the "cool" uptown crowd).. I can't tell about the restaurant itself as I only had got one beer from a bartender.. had no food.. place was crowded. nice outdoor patio..
now the beer, pretty good, but didn't seem to have the same impact as the cans ( not the same hop aroma or taste) but will have to extend my sample beyond the one beer..

There is definitely a high douchebag quotient at the CT.

Heard they had the Bear Republic Racer X Double IPA on tap a month or so ago. They're online bar menu is awesome. They could be some real competition to the Gingerman.
