Interesting Club Program

I was listening to the June 24, 2010 Basic Brewing Radio Podcast and they talked about Prairie Homebrewing Companions' Award of Brewing Program which recognizes club members who brew the various beer styles. They bring samples to the club meetings and the club's BJCP Certified Judges evaluate the beers and if they meet the style the brewer gets the beer counted towards the awards program. Once a brewer meets the various award levels they either get a certificate or mug commemorating their achievement.
