BJCP Class 9 - December 13

Hello everyone.

Class 9 will be held on December 13. We will be meeting at Melinda Beyer's home at 12:30. The address is 2117 Rheims Dr, Carrollton 75006. Here's a map http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&q=211 ... 16&iwloc=A.

In class 9, we will be having another min BJCP exam. Afterward we will be having two style presentations, followed with a tasting of commercial examples. This will be the format for the remaining classes.

The commercial presentations for this class will be on India Pale Ale and Strong Ale.

We are getting close to the exam date. There's been a number of people contacting me about taking the exam. As it stands we may have more who wish to take the exam than the BJCP allows. The BJCP is limiting the number of exam takers to 20 starting in January. There are 5 people from out of town that I'll need to let know whether we will be able to accommodate them. For these reasons I feel we need to make commitments for the exam. I would like everyone in our class to take the exam. There are about 8 in the Fort Worth class that are committed; I'll need to confirm with James L.

If you don't already know, Just Dave will be administering the exam.
