2009 Dixie Cup, Early Entries Due Sept 18th

The early entry due date for the 2009 Dixie Cup is less than 4-weeks away. The Dixie Cup is open to all BJCP Beers, Meads & Ciders using the 2008 BJCP Guidelines.

Early Entries are due 9/18 at a cost of $7/Online Entry
Late Entries are due 9/25 at a cost of $10/Online Entry
The event is scheduled for October 15th – 17th.
This year, the Dixie Cup is featuring a special hybrid beer style called Frankenbier. Your brewing task is to take a classic German beer style and give it “American” parts to create a highly quaffable beer with both German and American characteristics

The packing party will be at my home Monday September 14th at 6pm.

I will need assistance assemblying the pallet at HBHQ, Tuesday 9/15 around noon. If you are available to help, please contact me.
If you can't make the packing party, you can drop off your entries at HBHQ before noon Tuesday 9/15. However we will only be accepting "fully packed" entries at HBHQ. Your entry should require only a shipping label. No other effort should be required to prepare the package for shipping.
The Dixie Cup is the last Lone Star Competition of 2009. If we want to have any chance of winning the LSC Homebrew Club of the year we need allot of participation from our club.
