I have some mead that I was going to enter to help get those entry numbers higher. The only issue is I usually bottle my meads in 12oz Duvel style bottles. Would these fall under "unusual" style bottles and be DQ'd?

No - Enter away! People bottle mead in all kinds of wierd bottles (I've seen 7oz green "Little Kings" bottles). Bring a bottle to the next club event...
