What beer will you be bringing to the club Christmas party?

I will be bringing a keg of the Blonde ale fermented with Wyeast's Belgian ale yeast from clubs yeast experiment from the October brew day.

I have three candidate beers. Tell me what you want me to bring:

1. Jimmy's Dort. A Dortmunder.
2. Barrett's multi-yeast brew. Mine was WLP-830 German Lager Yeast.
3. Jimmy's Imperial Porter. Between a Brown and Robust Porter and bigger than both.

I'll be bringing an Imperial Gingerbread Brown Ale. Or maybe it's an Oatmeal Gingerbread Brown Stout. We'll have to put it on tap and determine what the underlying style is. In any case, it's gingerbread.

Well, if people are stupid enough to actually drink the swill I make besides me; like Jimmy I offer a choice. I have three beers that should be ready to go; a Munich Dunkel, CAP or possibly an ESB. Both the CAP and the Dunkel are decent (which means absolutely nothing coming from me) and the ESB is currently undergoing carbonation although I think it will be "quaff worthy" as well. What I'll likely do is wait until this list gets filled in a bit before I decide. :D

I'll be bringing my latest attempt at a Kolsch style beer. Since I haven't got around to kegging yet, it will be in bottles.

I'd like to see some of yeast project beers show up at the Christmas Party.

DRY-S04 English Ale (Wayne Yandell)
WY1214 Belgian Abbey (Brian B)
WY3522 Belgian Ardennes (Don Trotter)
WLP029 German Ale/Kolsch (Randy Friese)

There was about six at the brewday with all the brewing going on many missed a direct comparison. Sample analysis may also be tough at the party but it will be nice to see how the blonde has conditioned.

(SORRY ALL GONE) WY1469 West Yorkshire Ale (TheMacheteMasher)
WLP090 San Diego Super (Antonio Borunda)
WLP830 German Lager (Jimmy Orkin)
WLP051 California Ale V (jthoresen)
WLP002 English Ale (Leroy Gharis)
WLP008 East Coast Ale (James Smith)

I am out of my share. However, I am bringing a Bourbon & Oak Barleywine (10 abv). The beer is fairly smooth hoping we tap the keg. I'd like to brew with a bit more hops.

Rack your beer off the yeast before transporting your beer. I just transferred my Porter and Barrett beer from old kegs into clean kegs to leave the yeast behind. Damon Lewis has shamed me into the practice and it is a good one.

Yeah, that is good advice Jimmy. I'll likely jump some ESB out of my 5 gallon keg into one of my 3 gallon kegs for exactly that reason. :D

Jimmy, please bring your Imperial Porter, I wanna try it out.

I would also like to see the big brew yeast experiment beers on tap to compare.

Chuck and I will be bringing a Pumpkin Saison as well Walter. As well as commercial beer.

I will be bringing a Keg of Belgium Golden Strong. I guess I need to find a clean keg to port it to so it won't be all yeasty.

Bill James.

I will be bringing the APA that I brewed on November 1st at the brew day. It is a very simple extract APA made with a mix of light and pils DME and steeped with one pound of 20L crystal. It is single hopped with 05256, the "experimental" hop featured in Cedar Creek Dankosaurus IPA. I enjoyed a couple of homebrews that included this hop at the National Homebrew Conference this year, and of course I now consider Dankosaurus a staple. However, I wanted to experience this hop's characteristics all by itself. I think you will enjoy it!

Looks like we are around 10-11 kegs. I can bring my jockey box for overflow.
