NTHBA will have a packing party for the Alamo City Cervezafest and the Big Batch Brew Batch on Monday, April 28th at Dallas Homebrew/Winemaker's Toy Store. If you can assist with packing, bring your bottles in between 5:00 and 6:00 p.m. If you cannot make the packing party, you can drop your bottles off at either Homebrew Headquarters (before noon on the 28th) or at Dallas Homebrew. If you are dropping off, please make sure that your bottles are packed and ready for shipping and that your box(es) are clearly labeled. The club will pick up shipping costs as well as packing materials for those who are able to make the packing party. Some additional packing party info and tips can be found in the competitions discussion forum on our website.

If you miss the packing party, please note that the entry deadlines are May 3rd for the ACCF and May 9th for the BBBB. Links to both competitions can be found at http://www.lonestarcircuit.com/qualcomps.html. As with all competitions, read the registration and entry rules carefully and make sure that the required bottle labels and other paperwork are included with your shipment. As a reminder, ACCF is open to all BJCP categories and BBBB is a single style competition featuring "Texas Brown Ale" this year.

Good luck to all of our entrants. Let's rack up some more Lone Star Circuit points for our club!

Pros't!

Thanks to everyone who came out to the packing party. We had about 10 folks show up, and I counted 35 entries headed to ACCF. Best of luck to all who entered! Let's rack up some more Lone Star Circuit points.

Scottish and Irish Ale - 2nd place- Leroy Gharis
German Wheat and Rye - 3rd place- Jimmy Orkin
Standard Cider and Perry - 1st place- Barrett Tillman

Best of Show - 3rd Place - Jimmy Orkin - Light Lager

Walter,
I'm not sure I know what you mean. Are you saying that it looks like others did the ol' double entry trick?
