Re: 2014 Celtic Brew Off
I have never entered this competition before however because I brewed alot of English beer for the Bluebonnet this year I was talked into giving it a go this year. I assume that like the Limbo they combine several style categories when it comes to awarding metals. After lurking on the website, I can't tell which categories they are combining and generally speaking I try not to compete with myself (not that it really makes that much difference I guess since swill is still swill). Does anybody have any experience with this contest that could give me a clue? Maybe point me to a list of prior year winners?

Re: 2014 Celtic Brew Off
They awards are based on BJCP category. You can enter 1 per subcategory, and 2 per category, up to 12 per brewer. So, if you have a ordinary bitter and an ESB, enter them both. You'll get 2 shots at placing, and you might place with both.
