Kegs for the Bluebonnet
We will be hauling the club keggerator to the Bluebonnet for the room crawl again this year. Reply to this forum if you are planning on bringing a keg. Let us know what you are bringing too.

I'm happy to bring a keg or two. I'll have to get with Kevin to see what we will have ready to bring, just have to see what we have left at that time.

I'll bring my share of the Dark Strong that Barrett and his cohorts brewed up. By the way, I tasted the stuff this weekend and it is very good. It's gonna be a big pain in the butt to serve as I carbonated the hell out of it but it's nice stuff. Oh, and I am not responsible for all the passed out drunks once we put this stuff on tap, see Barrett about that.
Remember, brewers make wort, only yeast make beer

I plan on getting to the hotel around 4:00 - 4:30. I'm not sure what time we'll be allowed into the ballroom, but I'll need some assistance getting the keggerator and bar moved in.
If you are bringing kegs, get them to me as soon as we get the keggerator into the ballroom so that they'll have time to settle and cool.

Re: Kegs for the Bluebonnet
Hey Barrett, if you could update I am currently planning on bringing my keg of Gose, not thinking I'll be able to bring a second.
Re: Kegs for the Bluebonnet
Thanks for the help. I'll be bringing a keg of roggenbier.
I am also working on a stand to support a wall from O'Blivions behind the keggerator. We'll display the banner from the wall.

The club's 10 lb. CO2 tank is at Mike's and is empty. The fittings also need some of the plastic flare gaskets.

I will swing by Mikes and swap the CO2 tank out. Just let me know what fitting you need, and I will get them to Mike.

Re: Kegs for the Bluebonnet
I picked up and cleaned the keggerator last night. It looks like we have 800 PSI in the cylinder, so a backup would be a good idea. I think we need one of those little teflon compression fittings that seal the barbed connector to the regulator. A couple of o-rings for inside the black plastic beer connectors would be nice, since there are only two spares in the kit now.

Do we have enough kegs to take up all the taps now? What is the confirmed list so far? I would say we wouldn't want empty taps, but that's just my opinion.

Wally -- I will bring a few extra barb connection washers ( I call 1/4 " fish-eye washers), a couple of regulator to tank washers, and keg post o rings in case that is what you may need. Bill Neumann
Re: Kegs for the Bluebonnet
Bill N. thanks for helping with the keggerator parts.
We are only have 6-7 keg commitments, we have space for 12. If we have more than 12, then we can swap beers out during the evening and replace ones that get killed.
We need more commitments.
