I've decided that a batch of SMASH (Single Malt and Single Hop) - APA will be a good option for the 2nd batch.

American 2-row malt and an American hop. You can dry hop and pitch your choice of ale yeast on your batch.

We can talk more about doing the partigyle for a later batch.

Who wants to take some beer? I'll get pricing setup and the number of people who want 5 gallons will set the batch size.

Okay I am in.

This could go in many directions of with hops. I am thinking Hallertau\Saaz with Trappist yeast. Depending on the OG some additional sugar to dry it. Should make a nice standard issue Belgian.

Beer contains just a small amount of vitamins - that's why it's necessary to drink lot of it

This will be at the next brew day Saturday, January 21 Mike Grover's 9:00AM
The plan is to do one boil with one variety of american hops and standard american two row malt as the base wort.

If you prefer to boil your own wort with a different hop selection you will need your own brew gear to do the boil and chilling etc.

Wayne,

I'm in for 5 gallons if it isn't too late. I'll be brewing something else on the brewday, but I can help you out as needed. Thanks!

I've decided that a batch of SMASH ... will be a good option
I'm in for 5 gallons if available due to the name alone...SMASH beer. This style should be a new BJCP category. See you Saturday -Andrew

p.s. I think I will use a hop rocket to get some extra American hops infused, and maybe bring it to the next brew day if it's good.

It looks like we have more takers than beer.

I'm getting stuff together now and guess we will sort it out at the brew day.
