Of course you would have to boil the wort yourself.

Lots of possibilities but would need to plan ahead.
One thought I had was to pull off a bit of the first and second runnings to make a strong dark by adding some specialty malts.

So we have the following commitments

Wayne 5-10 gallons
Damon 5-10 gallons
Jason 5-10 gallons
JHarrington - 5+ gallons
I can jump in for 5 - 10 gals, let me know... belgium pale is just fine..
Beer contains just a small amount of vitamins - that's why it's necessary to drink lot of it

Just got a nice kegerator and five corny kegs that I need to fill up. Would be happy to take 5 gals if any. Would be extremely happy with a pale ale as my current batch in the fermentor is a darker Christmas Ale.

Rob,

I have a 50 foot chiller and will make another 50 foot chiller that will fit around it for the brew day and will run them in parallel.
I'm not sure how much ice we will need. Alot. Probably 100 pounds would be reasonable :)

I figure we can use the HLT with a sump pump to recirculate ice water to drop to pitch temp after running tap water to get the initial temp below 120 or so.

I'll run some numbers for the ingredients any anyone taking some of the wort can chip in their portion.

I'll bring 2 propane tanks.

Rob,

I just put that in for the style. I'm not sure if I'll go with that or a saison yeast.

Still thinking about my share of wort.

I will be making a 3522 starter, so if anyone else wants some say so! On Wednesday I will go to HBHQ and get yeast packs to start it.

Ok here is what I have into the brew so far:
Price includes discounts etc:

2 bags of Dingman Pilsen malt - $122.38
7 lbs of Caramunich - $10.92
Munich malt - have on hand
Czech Saaz - Cost would be about $15.00 for 8 oz if bought in bulk.

I have willamette pellets and leaf hops still sealed in vacuum bags to sub for the Goldings.

Anyone have Czech Saaz? Sterling would probably be ok to sub in too.

Not counting the willamette pellets cost is around $15-$16 per 5 gallons of wort.
45 gallons would work out to 9 shares of 5 gallons.

I set up the system with fittings and ran it today.

Kelly was nice enough to give me some cracked grains to test it.
I believe I will have to modify the wind screens as the burner was too close to the kettle.

Here is a picture as it stands now.

Quantities.

Lets keep it to 5 gallons a person and those who spoke up first will have first option for 10.
