I don't know how many here communicate with our Tarrant County clubs but KOBB Gene Wheelbarger was killed in a traffic accident on I-35W yesterday. Some of you may have known him from his work with the Bluebonnet in recent years, as well as judging and participating in local BJCP classes.
He leaves behind a wife and kids. I'll post more details about how to help as I hear them.

Re: Gene Wheelbarger
I am very sorry to hear that. I only knew him from beer functions but he was always working hard or having a lot of fun. He will be missed
Re: Gene Wheelbarger
All,
Here is what I got today about memorial the service:
Memorial services for Gene will be held this Saturday at 12:00 at the Edge Park United Methodist Church. The church is located at 5616 Crowley Road in Fort Worth, 76134.
Jen asked that the services be very casual - no dresses or suits. Gene was always most comfortable in a worn T-shirt with a Ford logo or camouflage and would want his friends to be the same way too.
The church is located on I-20 at Crowley Road just to the West of the intersection of I-35W and I-20
