New BJCP Guidelines

Post by Bill Lawrence »

I just saw that the BJCP is going to update their guidelines and is looking for impletmentation by the end of the year (may not be news for you guys but was news for me). It would be useful to know when the various competitions will be using the new guidelines as I frequently start brewing for a contest as much as six months before an event. By the way, I think it's a really good thing as I see that there will be new styles included and some of those beers should be really fun to make and drink. Our own Mr. Tillman should be almost euphoric as it looks like there will be alot more sour styles which of course he is very good at. :D

SOUR POWER! I am in fact ecstatic. I have some catching up to do in clean beer. Been brewing session ales in an effort to spot cross contamination.
