NTHB Blue Bonnet Booth!

Hey there all you NTHBers!
I know many of you were at BB last year. And I know you all noticed how we kinda got squeezed by the jail on one side and another themed setup on the other. It made it hard for people to get to our bar. So I as the "PARTY BOY" have taken up the task of putting together an elite force!

The Special BB Booth Sub committee.

The SBBBS Will be in charge of planning, designing, building, and executing the NTHB BB booth for 2012.

I think of it like this. We are the largest club in the area, therefore we should pool our talent and have the best booth. Right!?
It will come fast so we need to get this team together asap and get brainstorming.

From my experience of having to haul the bar and keggerator to the BB my suggestion would be to have the club pay to rent an enclosed u-haul trailer so that the keggerator, bar and what ever can be locked up on site. This would allow whomever is in charge of it the opportunity to attend the tech talk on Saturday morning. I have not been able to attend one since the new room crawl format started.

What is the plan on the booth?

Who is taking the kegerator and when? Whoever is doing the final setup and transport of the kegerator needs to call me.

I was not planning on taking any time off from work on Friday, since I thought the keggerator was taken care of. The bar is in the storage room in Carrollton.

I think the plan is to rent a truck for transport and storage at the hotel. Not sure who is handling this, though.

It would probably be a good idea to clean the lines out before Friday. I cleaned them after the Christmas party, but they have been sitting up for 3 months now.

If it doesn't get organized the kegerator won't be there. I made this clear at the last officer's meeting.
The kegerator also needs a home after Bluebonnet as I need the room in my office storage unit for more stock.

Time is short and my schedule this week is too tight for me to handle this.

This is starting to sound like it will be a big embarrassment for the club. If I had time off on Friday I would love to help but I have no way of getting the kegerator or moving it. It needs to be there. Anyone email the officers yet to make sure they are aware? It would be sad if our club had nothing or little on tap .

The kegerator and portable bar will be there on Friday so no worries.
Be sure to bring some GOOD kegged beer!

I'll be flushing the kegerator lines with beer line cleaner and will fill them with starsan.
I'll plug it in today to be sure to test the compressor as well.
