Celtic Results!

Post by Brewboy »

First I want to congradulate everyone who entered this competition. We made a respectable showing and thankfully, we are still in the race for Lonestar club of the year. Good Job everyone!

The award winners were as follows:

Don Trotter and Kelly Harris took 3rd place in the English Bitter category.

Cameron Mathews took 2nd place in the Scottish and Irish Ale category.

Cameron Mathews also took 3rd place in the Stout category.

Leroy Gharis took 2nd place with his English IPA

Scott Townson took 3rd place with his English IPA

Cody Grey took 1st place with his English Cider

We swept the Melomel Mead category with Scott Townson taking 1st and Wayne Yandel taking 2nd and 3rd.

Wayne Yandel took 1st place in Other Meads and also Best of show mead this carmelized mead. Awsome!

We earned a total of 25 points for the Lone Star Circuit and were the second highest club in points earned. Austin Zeallots barely edged us out of first with a club score of 27 points.

Well done!

I'll have everyone's score sheets at the next club meeting. Humperdinks on the 8th. See you there.
Scott Townson

Do you have any idea where the rest of the results can be found. I sure would like to know how my bitter and mild did.

Here's a link to the 14th Annual Celtic website. Maybe they will post all of the results there soon.
