Talked to Fritz Rahr and Mel from Rahr Brewing tonight at the Saucer in Addison. They are expecting to start brewing again next week. They have a new bottling system coming from Italy which is going to take 12oz. and 22 oz. bottles. They also have a new cooler and ability to do more barrel aged beers. Maybe we can get some bombers of their barrel aged Winter Warmer this fall. It is probably the best beer I have tasted from them.
They had some Stormcloud IPA samples tonight. It was better than I remember from the past. Fritz is back at the brewery after doing about 3 years of contract work. I am looking for bigger and better things from them.
