Lone Star Circuit Standings

Folks, I’ve pleaded with you to compete since the beginning of my election as Competitions director. I’ve called you to arms; I’ve presented you with quotes from some great men in our history.

Points I’ve tried to make:

We brew excellent beer; never forget who brews the best damn beer in Texas!

Competition sharpens skill! Compete and you will become a better brewer.

There is no shame in trying and failing just learn from it and persevere! There is only shame in sulking in the shadows of the twilight never daring to compete, showing fear of the wrath of the judges or worse yet, attitudes of non support for Club Pride. Shame, Oh the shame!

We are in a very close race for Club of the year in the Lone Star circuit. The Lone Star Committee has yet to post any results but with two competitions under our belts I built a little spreadsheet this morning just to see where we stand. By my calculations, we are in second place just behind Austin Zealots.
