A Brewers Christmas Poem

Post by Brewboy »

It's a bit slow at work this week......

A Brewers Christmas Poem

Twas the night before Christmas,
And all through evening,
Strong ales were consumed
And warm was the feeling

Barley wine was swirled
In the snifter by hand
Sweet barley and hops
They wafted so grand

Scotch Ales imbibed
A few Triples to toast
Then that Imperial stout
That’s lacking the roast

Contemplating the morning
What would dawn bring?
When we open the packages
Tied with ribbon and string

A Cajun burner perhaps
A false bottom that’s stainless?
Could there be a March Pump?
A beer poster that’s frameless?

Wants and wishes,
They always abound
For brewery enhancement
Needs are always around.

I’ve tried to be good
I’ve tried to be sweet
I’ve never really drank
Myself off of my feet

I’ve over indulged
Only once maybe twice
I don’t really remember
If there was a thrice

I hope my wife doesn't
Think of me less
Merry Christmas to all
And to all God Bless!

May judges be smitten with our brews and long for our nectars throughout eternity!!
