2009 Limbo Entry Due Date Friday July 31st

Post by Guerra »

The Limbo entry due date is coming up fast, Friday July 31st. Entries are due at HBHQ before 6pm.

Some helpful tips for preparing your entries for the Limbo competition:
1. Printed crown caps must be blacked-out with a permanent marker and all labels removed to assure anonymity of all entries.
2. A completed bottle label must be attached to each bottle with a rubber band? No tape or glue.
3. Place an envelope containing the registration form, a copy of your entries list, and payment or proof of payment, so it can be boxed with your entries. If you require multiple boxes, this information should be include in each box.
4. Keep copies of your registrations and entry forms for your records

When dropping off your entries at HBHQ, please do not drop them off in open 6-pack holders. 6-pack holders are hard to stack, and offer limited protection, and you run the risk of your paperwork becoming separated from your entries. You should "pack" your entries in a sealable box with all of your paper work. A "case box" or something similar should be sufficient.

If you need any help determining what category you should be entering, bring your beer by the Summer Party this weekend and I am sure you will find someone who can help.

If you have any questions please post up, or ask someone at the Summer Party.

Are Limbo entries only accepted at HBHQ, or will there be a Ft. Worth Homebrew pickup as well?

Thanks,

Sorry that we missed informing your club about Limbo Challenge entry drop off locations. I will personally pick up the entries in F/W on Friday around noon. Here is the information that was sent to the C&H and KoBB. Note: Online Entry will be open untill 5PM on the 31st any entries after that will not be accepted (Edited By Damon). Get your entries to either of the two locations listed below.

Thanks,
Don

NTHBA members, if you have any case dividers and 6-pack holders you can spare, we need them for the Limbo Challenge log in.

Thanks for the update. I was pretty sure I'd heard FWHB would be accepting entries through the 30th, but hadn't seen it written down anywhere. We'll have a few boxes there before end of Thursday.

I just registered my entries but my confirmation states that "Award Cermony Registration is full" Does this mean that I won't be able to attend the Award Cermony?

I fixed the counter for how many are attending. since we are doing it at BJ's this year we should have plenty of room but when I updated the form I didn't know so I set a limit.

So just to be clear go ahead and show up. :)

When I registered I said there would be 2, and it told me that it was full. I reckon I would have already been on the attendance list, since I am the head judge, but what about my guest?
