Post by Guerra »

The Cactus Challenge is back in the Lonestar Circuit (although the LSC website has not been updated). http://www.ale-iansociety.org/cactus/.

The 11th Annual competition will be held Friday and Saturday, September 19th-20th at the Ashmore Inn in Lubbock. The Cactus will be accepting entries August 6th-20th.

The club will not be having a packing party for this event, but instead we will be driving up the entries to Lubbock.

If you would like to have your entries delivered to Lubbock, please drop them off at Homebrew Headquarters before close of business Friday August 15th.

Just looked at the site. There doesn't seem to be any online registration, rules, or entry forms available.

Take a look at the Ale-ians forum: http://www.ale-iansociety.org/index.php ... opic&t=393

So more information should be available soon.

Don't forget to get your Cactus entries in to Homebrew HQ by close-of-business on Friday. I will be running these out to Lubbock this weekend.

When filling out forms last night I noticed there was not a place to put the club name. Be sure you put NTHBA somewhere on the entry form.

I see the club name on the Registration Form. There is not place for club on the Entry Form.

At first glance it looks like the point totals between us and BAM are pretty close. We did have lots of winners!

Can ya'll check and see if your cactus entry check has cleared your banks? Mine hasn't and I'm thinking that is kind of strange.
