It has been a long time since we met there. We met at the Addison location 1.5-2 years ago, and I can't remember ever meeting at the Greenville location.

I'll be beertendering in the "Big Thirsty" hospitality room from 1:30 until 2:30 or 3, but can help after that. Be sure to stop by for fuel/refreshment!

Reminder-

Bluebonnet first round judging kicks off this Saturday, March 3rd at 9:00 a.m. at Coors Distributing in Ft. Worth. There is no Dallas judging location this year. Judging will also take place this Sunday and next weekend at the same location.

I have a water softener and when I'm not using a lot of roasted grain in a recipe I will typically add some gypsum to replace the calcium which the softener removes. I'm taking a guess, though, as to my initial water chemistry. Oneathesedays I will have a sample analyzed.

Fred David and I will be brewing a Maibock tomorrow and splitting the batch. Each half will be fermented with a different yeast. It would be interesting to do a taste comparison sometime this summer.
