Re: Competition Brewing for 2013
We are both members. If we enter one as our team name can we enter a second as an individual? Or would we have to enter both as individuals since our names would be on the team entry? We'll get them in there, just hope we can get at least a point or two for the club.

Re: Competition Brewing for 2013
One per subcategory? Wow, I thought it was two, I hadn't read the details yet but that is what I had always seen for other competitions. That stinks, we want to enter as our team since we brew everything together.

What Category to enter in?
My brew partner and I have a couple beers that we are unsure what category to enter for Bluebonnet. I know we have time just wanting to get information ahead of time. We have an Imperial Red, right at 8% ABV and around 60 IBU's. I am thinking 19A. Old Ale is about the only place I can put it other t...

Re: Craft & Growler
You can drink on premise, they do pints and have bottles as well. It is setup for growlers but is also a bar.
They have a large selection of growlers but will also fill your own if you bring it in.

Is there a meetup or any other kind of sign up or do we just show up?
Any clue what time the raffle drawing and white elephant usually happen?

Craft & Growler
Anyone who hasn't gone out to check out Craft & Growler should make a trip. They are in Exposition Park/Fair Park. They have 32-36 taps, all ready to fill your growler to go. The majority, upwards of 30 at times are all Texas beers, lots of DFW breweries. I just got the Peticolas Wintervention t...

Re: Dallas Winter Warmer
corrections-casks or firkins of beer that fits the style. Any chance you'll be able to get some out of state breweries that don't usually distribute here? I saw Sweetwater, Southern Tier, Schlafly and a few other great breweries on your other site that we don't get. Any chance some of those will be...

Re: Dixie Cup 2012: We have a winner!
Woohoo!!! Kevin and I only entered the Gimme S'more Stout because we had already paid for the specialty category and ran out of our Orange Honey Habanero Wit while bottling it for this competition. We decided to go ahead and bottle this Stout and send it in, super happy we did!

Re: CO2 Regulator
It was the adjustment control. I hooked it all up without connecting the hoses and figured it out. It was too loose. Tightened it up and the air began to pass thru. So user error. Unsurprising. :) Being new to kegging tho, I have a followup question, what keg pressure do you typically use? I use 12...

I'm going to be sending a couple entries down today, but I also never heard of a collection point or plan so I figured we were on our own for this one.

So what OG did we end up with? I know were around 1.078 pre-boil. I was sad to have to leave a little before we were done but I really had a blast helping out. Thank you Barrett for organizing this and pulling it all together! I think I can make it out now for October 6th, I'll just be late if we ge...

Re: NTHBA brew day 9/15
I wanted to say thanks to Chuck and everyone who organized the brew day. Great beer, crazy good german food, and a great time. I had a really good time getting to know more members and that garage is just amazing, I know I'm jealous haha. Thanks!
