Hey Barrett, if you could update I am currently planning on bringing my keg of Gose, not thinking I'll be able to bring a second.

Any interest in 5 gallon barrels?
This is purely hypothetical at this point, but Balcones Distillery in Austin uses 5 gallon oak barrels to age their blue corn whiskey. They sell the 5 gallon barrels to homebrewing.com. I want to try and cut out the middle man and get a few directly from Balcones, but I figure if we can get interest...

Re: Jester King Coolship!!!
You're absolutely right. Its really a hit or miss process with fully wild fermentation. You can waste gallons of wort, but you could also make an amazing beer that no one else can replicate, somethign truly unique to your area.

In 18 months or so we can get some commercial 100% wild fermentented TX beer! I know Barrett will find this as interesting as I did.

2013 Alamo City Cerveza Fest
Will there be a packing party or someone driving entries down for Alamo City this year? I just registered online, putting 6 beers in, and just wondering if the club is going to participate or if I should pack them up myself. I don't want to wait until the last minute on this like I did with Bluebonn...

Re: Club Kegerator Brew for BB2013
Is bringing a couple 1/2 - 2/3 full kegs acceptable or is that bad form? I haven't been out to BB before, so I don't know if its cool to bring partially full kegs.

Re: Competition Brewing for 2013
Can anyone advise me how to put a team name on an entry for Bluebonnet? I can put in the name of a co-brewer, but there is not anywhere I can find to enter a team name. I feel like I'm missing something.

Re: Kegs for the Bluebonnet
I'm happy to bring a keg or two. I'll have to get with Kevin to see what we will have ready to bring, just have to see what we have left at that time.

Re: Competition Brewing for 2013
If anyone is interested registration for BrewRiot opened up today as well. http://brewriot.com/ If you don't know about it, it's really similar to the Labor of Love we participated in at DEBC, you bring a 5 gallon batch of homebrew and everyone can sample it, but they all vote for the crowd favorite...
