Bluebonnet 2015

The registration is open for the Bluebonnet and we have over 400 of the 1525 entries registered. Don't wait until the last minute to get your beers registered. If you are waiting to get a beer or two bottled up, go ahead and register what you have ready, then add the other beers later. We need a few...

January Brewday

Who's brewing and what are you brewing?

I'll be trying something different, a cream IPA. Like a regular IPA but with lactose sugar to boost the body and sweeten it up a bit.

Re: Up coming competitions

You're asking about the Club Only Competitions. The extract competition is next month, so you'll need to brew quick.

Thanks. We'll check into it.

I just added a page to the web site with the 2015 competitions. I will update the dates as soon as they are updated on the LSC web site.

Re: What Do You Plan to Enter Into the Bluebonnet?

Bill, thanks for getting this topic started. Guys and Gals it's definitely time to get your beers ready for the Bluebonnet. There is still time to knock out some lower gravity ales. Anything big or lagers should already be in the bottle and have had time to properly age and lager. For anyone who is ...

Club Meeting Locations

We are looking for suggestions for meeting locations. There are a couple of guidelines we use when scheduling a venue. 1. They must be able to accommodate 30-40 of us in a separate room since we use the PA system 2. Food would be nice 3. Beer is great, but some place that is BYOB would be awesome If...
