Re: Dixie Cup

I will drive entries down to Houston on Saturday, the 21st. If you are dropping entries at one of the home brew shops, send me an email. I want to make sure I get everyone's entries picked up.

Re: Celtic Brew Off

I hope everyone has recovered from last weekend's festivities. We had another great showing at this year's Bluebonnet! Not only did we successfully defend the Bluebonnet Trophy, we have given ourselves an early lead in the Lonestar Circuit. We didn't have very many entries for the Alamo City Cerveza...

Re: Bluebonnet Brew Off

The "Tasting Glass Evaluation Clinic" is just another name for the commercial tasting. Beers from many breweries will be available to sample. Tickets will be available at the registration desk, but they are limited. Your best bet is to get there earlier, say 6:00-6:30.

Re: Bluebonnet Serving Volunteers

We're still looking for volunteers to serve. We are lagging behind the other local clubs for volunteers. The commercial tasting lasts 2.5 hours. The ideal arrangement would be 3 shifts per table, roughly 45 minutes per shift. If anyone can handle a 45 minute shift, please consider helping out. And b...

Re: Bluebonnet Serving Volunteers

Update : For the Hospitality Suite, AKA The Big Thirsty, the remaining time slots that need to be filled are: ON SATURDAY, 2 servers for 2-4 pm, and 2 servers for 6-8 pm. That's 4 servers needed for a 2-hour shift in the Big Thirsty. Do we have 4 people to fill those slots?

I have 17 entries, so I am looking for 2 to 3 pairs of judges to help with this. I would like to start judging between 6:00 and 6:30, if I can get enough judges. I need at least ...
