Let's wait until next year when we will use the 2015 BJCP style guidelines since we will probably shake things up anyway. I believe the Beyers have volunteered to host judging this year. Craft and Growler has wo...

Thanks to everyone who made it out for the January Brew Day! The weather was kind and we had a terrific turnout. Thanks to David Lee for putting on the hops presentation. Four batches of beer were brewed on-site: an imperial blonde, IPA, hefeweizen, and cream IPA. Hopefully we'll be sharing these at...

Re: Christmas Party Beer

I will be bringing the APA that I brewed on November 1st at the brew day. It is a very simple extract APA made with a mix of light and pils DME and steeped with one pound of 20L crystal. It is single hopped with 05256, the "experimental" hop featured in Cedar Creek Dankosaurus IPA. I enjoy...

Re: NTHBA Made a Move This Year

Good observations! We also had a lot of different folks entering and winning. We did not have one or two dominant brewers that entered huge numbers of beers and carried us as a club. As you can see in our Brewer of the Year standings, we have seven different brewers who picked up at least six points...
