Sabco Fermenters
Hello all, I was wondering if any of you have experience with these fermenters? I'm considering one and just comparing versus a ss conical variety. It seems based on some reading I have done, they are both pretty solid products, evenly priced, and sanitary. Would love to hear any feedback you might ...

Pressure fillers
Do any of you have experience using any type of pressure fillers? I'm looking at how I can submit beer in competitions and still keg it rather than naturally carbonate it. If you have a particular filler you use and have had good success please let me know.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Wheat IPA, Late Hopping Strategy
Also, something you probably considered but what type of yeast are you thinking? And at what temp will you be fermenting? The clover banana flavor of the wheat can be powerful and I feel the simcoe would be an excellent combo for that since it's fruity. I would only use 1/2 oz at around 10-15 min le...

Re: Water conditioning/additions?
Jess, Plano just posted their water report on their city site. Easy to make adjustments having the report in front of you and using a beer app such as beersmith to help out. I too live in Plano and use a charcoal filter which works great. Have had really good success with water treatment using their...

Re: Honey porter recipe ideas-feedback please!
Well, it has been bottled for in 22oz bombers for 3 weeks now and it seems to not be carbing up. I will give it another week or two. any suggestions or questions would be helpful. The flavor turned owned pretty darn tasty, however. just needs some bubbles. I'm sure kegging this would have been ideal...

Big mouth Bubbler - New!
let's get some chatter on this. I mentioned it to Kelly at Homebrew HQ and he is going to see about how to get some in his shop. What do you all think? 2 sizes 5 and 6.5 gallon! Looks to be a winner if you like glass. http://www.northernbrewer.com/shop/big-mouth-bubbler-5-gallon.html?icn=NBHomepage&...

Re: Honey porter recipe ideas-feedback please!
Yes, I originally had Crystal 60 there instead of the german mix, but I went to homebrew HQ and nibbled on both grains. I was thinking that the German had a touch more flavor. You are definitely right about the black patent though. Maybe 4 oz is a bit much. I also heard about a honey malt to give th...
