As far a I know Terrapin isn't distributing their beer in Texas yet. According to the brewery's website the nearest distributor to Dallas is in New Orleans. Good luck with your Moo Hoo clone!

I brewed a Saison a few years ago and added the sugar four minutes before the end of the boil. The yeast that I used, Wyeast 3724 (Belgian Saison) required some patience. It liked to ferment around 80 degrees, so I left the carboy sitting at room temperature. I made the mistake of brewing it in the ...

I'd be happy to bring some of my latest oatmeal stout. However, it's in bottles, and I over-primed it when I bottled it. The way it foams makes me think of snake fireworks on the 4th of July. Maybe next year I'll have something better.

I was interested to read your comment about bottling with long necked bottles, Bill. I'm currently working on a saison too, a 3 gallon batch. I've only got four champagne bottles, so need to find somewhere else to put the rest of the batch. Do stubbies work for saisons? I also have some 12 oz bottle...
