Re: Decocting Up A Disaster!

Chris, I had a similar problem. It turned out my thermometer was WAY off. If you turn the holder that comes on some of them it resets the calibration if you don't hold the stem tight when you do it. I checked it and it was 20 degreees high! Yours could have been low leaving starches unconverted. Tha...

Brewer Royale

My two cents on the Brewer Royale: The Brewer Royale has been based on the COC for a reason. It allows everyone to compete in a small event just among club members. The people who have won the Lone Star Circuit routinely entered 30 to 40 beers per event. This is not exaggeration; Richard Dobson, Mik...

I can take a load in the 4Runner, the seats fold down and I can take one passenger. It is almost 7 feet by 3.5 ft in the back and it's covered from the elements. Tell me when and where to met up.

Thanks Orlando and Terri ! A good time was had by all. It's always nice to have feedback from as many people as possible prior to plunking down money on entries your not sure of. We should have one of these get togethers prior to every competition entry. Thanks to everyone that tried my swill and of...

They were not allowing stores to put some imports on the shelves a couple of years back because of that law. They wanted some Belgian beers and other imports/craft beers to be relabeled as "malt liquor". Duvel Malt Liquor(!?!!) right up there next to Mickey's malt liquor....... They finall...

That's only for Dallas City water, if you live outside of Dallas chances are you get your water from a different source. Fred David has the report for Plano where the water just barely flows it's so hard!
