Do you care about your homebrew club?

Now that the state and national elections are done, it’s time to elect our own club officers.  For the last few years there have been a core group of dedicated individuals who have served as your club officers.  While we have had a few new folks step up and pitch in, it’s now time for more folks to get off the sidelines and contribute to the running of the club.

May Club Meeting

Don't forget to come out to Nine Band Brewing in Allen on Tuesday for our May Club Meeting!  We will be meeting on the patio and the weather should be quite spring-like.  We have a special guest speaker, the laboratory QC manager from North Texas Municipal Water District coming to speak to us on water.  So, bring your questions.  We will also be providing pizza for this month's meeting.  See everyone there Tuesday.

We are looking for a few dedicated members to step up and help run the club. No position takes a ton of time, but each position is crucial to the success of the club.

If you are interested in helping the club succeed, then contact one of the officers or join us at the next officer's meeting.

Hi all!The weather for this...

Hi all! The weather for this weekend is not looking great for camping at Cedar Creek Brewing. Unfortunately with that being said we are going to have to postpone the camping trip until this Fall. We will keep you posted on the new date and I hope everyone has a great weekend! Stay dry! Cheers, Nicole

NHC Packing Party - TONIGHT!

Reminder! The club packing party for the national homebrew competition is tonight at Dallas Homebrew in Carrollton from 5p to 6p.  Please arrive as close to 5p as possible to allow enough time to pack up your entries before the store closes at 6p.  As always, the club will pay for shipping the entries to the first round locations.  Please remember to bring the shipping address where your entries need to be delivered.

2016 Club Awards

Thank you to all who attended the Winter Party last night!  The food was excellent, the beer was flowing (and excellent), and it seems like all had a great time!  Thank you again to our hosts, Fred & Sue David, for allowing us to take over their house for the evening!  It is much appreciated!

Brew2 (Square) Homebrew Comp - Sat, Oct 1st

For those that didn't make it to the club meeting last night, Sean Lewis from the Rockwall Brewers Association (RBA) stopped by to talk about his club's Brew2 (Square) homebrew competition on October 1st. The people's choice-style competition will happen Saturday 10/1 from 1p - 4p in downtown Rockwall.
